European Regional Focal Point for Animal Genetic Resources (ERFP)
The European Regional Focal Point for Animal Genetic Resources (ERFP) is the regional platform to support the in situ and ex situ conservation and sustainable use of animal genetic resources and to facilitate the implementation of FAO's Global Plan of Action for Animal Genetic Resources in Europe.

The 13th Session of the Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture endorsed the guidelines "Cryoconservation of Animal Genetic Resources" in July 2012 and encouraged countries to make full use of these guidelines. It requested FAO to publish the guidelines and distribute them widely. Please find a copy for download following the link above.
The Slovak translation of the "Global Plan of Action for Animal Genetic Resources and the Interlaken Declaration" has been completed and published by arrangement with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations with the Animal Production Research Centre Nitra.
